There are different types of classification of cable according to different aspects of the cable. If you are considering the constructive properties of cable, then you can classify the different cable as:

These are the cables which are used in the construction work. For example, a twisted pair cable uses two cables in a pair to gain strength. And there is another classification of cable but the cables are put according to some special properties. The cables are listed as follows:

These cables may be fall under the category of Application cable as classified in the last post. But these cables look completely different from those of the application cables and therefore put in a separate classification.
